Richardsons plc (NISX:RCD) is a retail company whose primary business in the management of a chain of premium department stores located across New Ingerland. The company is the largest traditional department store group in New Ingerland and specialises in clothing, cosmetics, and homewares.

As of 2017, there are eighteen stores, which are located in all cities. The flagship store is the Richardsons Building, on the Bancroft Street Mall in Kingsbury.

Store Format

Richardsons stores are currently organised into a series of departments. These are as follows:

  • Health and Beauty (Cosmetics, fragrances, and toiletries)
  • Women's Wear (Designer women's clothing, bridalwear, and lingerie)
  • Menswear (Men's casual clothing, sportswear, formalwear, men's accessories, and footwear)
  • Fashion Accessories (Handbags, jewellery, men's & women's watches, and women's footwear)
  • Young Fashion (Surfwear and streetware)
  • Home (Bedding, electrical, furniture, soft furnishings, china, lighting, luggage, and kitchenware)
  • Children's (Children's clothes, accessories, footwear, and toys)
  • Food Services (Fresh fruit, vegetables, and gourmet foods)
  • Wedding Services

Richardsons stores vary greatly in size from the flagship store in Kingsbury to the smaller stores in locations such as Deauville. Some such stores do not have a full range of departments.
