Passenger transport authority

A Passenger transport authority (PTA) is an agency of the county councils which are responsible for the provision of mass public transport in New Ingerland. The bodies date back to 1988, and were established by the Passenger Transport Act[1].

Services

Each county council fulfils its passenger transport requirements by utilising different modes of public transport, e.g. buses, ferries, trams, &c. At present, the eight PTAs run services using the following modes of transport:
